Pyla Village Resort

Pyla Village Resort is located next to the old village of Pyla approximately 20 kms north west of Larnaca. It is just 15 minutes from  Larnaca airport by car or taxi.  Visit the 'Information' page for suggested travel companies that we use personally for hiring cars and booking low cost flights.
Pyla Village resort is wheel chair friendly.  Lifts in each block are spacious. Each block on the ground floor and the pool area has a toilet and outside showers.

Local Attractions

Coast/Beach

Pyla Beach is a 5 min drive down the road, this is local award-winning blue-flag beach, where food and refreshments are available. Larnaca Beach is 15 min drive and here you can sample water-sports. Mackenzie Beach is approx 1Km from Larnaca airport. The famous Nissi Beach is a 30 minute drive away. Fly-fishing can be done at the local Marina where you can also hire boats and take boat excursions.

Golf

Golf course is being constructed and is within a 25 minute drive.

Skiing

During the winter skiing is available at the Troodos Mountains which is approx 90 minutes away. You will be able to hire ski equipment and there is an area for sledging. You can ski in the morning and relax on the beach in the afternoon.

Travel

Car hire isn't essential but highly recommended (taxis and car hire available at airport). Larnaca Airport is a 15 min drive away. From 1 May - 31 October there will be a shuttle bus service from Pyla Palms village down to Pyla beach and shops - also goes on to Larnaca and back - an evening service also available. Distances:
Aiya Napa is 30km. Troodos Mountains is approx 90 min (or less) drive. Orkilini is a 5 min drive and Pyla Village is a 4-7 min walk.

Further details

Activities include: water-park, camel park, horse-riding and pony trekking park, quad biking, shopping and paint-balling, and more! Banks are on the Dhekilia road which also homes many restaurants, shops and bars. As you can see Cyprus has lots to offer and enjoy yourself and relax!
